I have just been working on some really nice little canvas boards, made by Pebeo they are lovely little things measuring only 10cm x 10cm x 5mm deep, they are a bit reminiscent of a coaster in size but are a lovely mini painting surface. What is the phrase?.. Small but perfectly formed! I think they will go into one of Ikeas’ little Ribba frames nicely and make a really nice bit of abstract art for a really small price tag. I really do feel strongly that original art should be for everyone, not just for those fortunate few with very deep pockets. You can see the page of them here.

I am also working on some slightly larger mini abstracts on oak blocks which I am quite excited about and which I will blog about as soon as I have some photographs done of the end results.
